It can be said that there is a lot of scopes for the improvement of the college like improving the faculty system, improving the overview etc.
Entrance Preview
After H.S. I appeared for WBJEE and got into this college by pursuing a standard merit rank. The interview process was same as followed by other colleges. It was my passion to get a chance to study in ECE.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I am doing is not so much satisfactory. The practical laboratories contain inadequate kits but those are easy to handle. Research initiatives like IEEE, Gate Forum etc facilities are on the ways of process taken by the authority.
Internships Opportunities
Internships do matter at the time of campusing. So there is a lot of own struggles in our college to do internships as much as they can so that they can make an well impression in front of the company. The average stipend amount is around 5000/- though most of the interns are unpaid.
Placement Experience
Being a North Bengal college, the rate of placement is relatively low as compared to other colleges. The major companies are TCS, CTS, SPCL etc. Nowadays the number of students recruited are lapsing because of bad infrastructure and average communication skills. The avg package is near about 4 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The college fee structure is quite affordable. The fees of each semester are 5,500/- approx. for CE, ME and EE; 8,500/- approx. for ECE, CSE and 14,000/- approx. for IT branches. The Hostel fees are 12,000/- per semester with a total of 8 semester.
Faculty
The faculty network actually holds a major issue mainly in ECE department. A few number of faculties who are still left are well qualified. They help us in our studies if we face any problem while understanding.
