Course Curriculum Overview

I want to choose this course because my father is also an electrician so I get help at home also. So I choose electrical Engineering course. The faculty members are so good and have good behavior with the students. According to my opinion the teaching method is also good. My college is under Makuat University so the examination process is strict and It is not difficult to pass But difficult to get High marks.

Fees and Financial Aid

According to my opinion, The fee structure is normal as it is not so costly or low. So it's totally normal. I am a wbchse student so I got the Swami Vivekananda scholarship from our state and my 12th marks were good so I am getting the scholarship.

Campus Life

Our college life campus is good. Every year we have one tech fest and a cultural fest. We get free books every sem. We have 2 library cards for one sem book and another for other books. Many sports are organized by our college and Many of the students participate in the program.

Admission

The admission process is not so tough. First of all, I arrived at the college and I had to do some steps like Fee payment Adhar copy 10th and 12th marksheet copy, etc. submitted and then I had To do an anti-ragging certificate College ID, etc.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3. In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
