Social life of the college can be rated above 8 out of 10 . Various functions and events are held in the college to refresh the environment for the students .

Entrance Preview

It is a state government college so the fees is also very less of the college . There is no interview process in the college nor any entrance exam is held in this college . The selection basis is done on the basis of merit list that is taken out from the result of 12th board exam .

The course is of three years . The college has good accountancy faculty therefore I choose this college and this is one of the best college in ranchi .

Internships Opportunities

Average stipend received by the students of this college which have gone for summer internships as well as winter internships are 4000-6000 rs . on hand which they did not think of learning practically . Experience shared by the students were like that they learned many things

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.
