I am pursuing bachelor's of technology in computer science engineering in data science. Good amount of students and 30 students in each class . Good faculty members . Teachers are very helpful and supportive.

Class Size: 27Course Fees: INR 520000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Cognizant and Capgemini come with projects . Overall mediocre type of placement facilities are availed in college . This year there is a lack of placement . There are not many companies came for on campus jobs .

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is 520000 for 4 years which is divided into 8 semesters . Scholarship and student credit card facilities are available . Svmcm scholarship is the most common one that is available for the students.

Campus Life

There are no fest and freshers . Annually one program is held which is a fest and freshers together for everyone and one sports fest is held in the months of February and March . There is a huge library with good amount of books .

Admission

Entrance via Wbjee and jee . All types of engineering courses are done ?. No reservations are available . You can get admission through counseling process in Wbjee and jee mains. The form is found in Google

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
