I chose MBA General as I will get the opportunity to choose my specialization later after understanding the course and subjects which will help me get a better view of what I am good at. The second reason is I want to do dual specialization which is only possible through MBA General. The faculty available are good and all are experience holders and have worked with corporates for at least 5 to 8 years. The only problem is with the faculty of finance as there are only 3 permanent faculty of finance and the rest are hired as visiting faculty which makes it hard for the students who opted for finance. The qualification of every faculty is a master's degree holder and Ph.D. holder and at least 5 to 8 years of experience in corporates. The term exams are easy to pass as marking is 50% external and 50% internal in some papers it is 40% and 60%. But it is easy to pass if you are regular in class and complete your assignments and presentations on time.

Some companies came for interns. some of them are as follows:- DSHAW- 1LPA (Finance) Sanguine capital- rs. 5500 (CRM) Deloitte- 30000 (U.S. Taxation) Trident 1lpa (HR) and many more companies visited for interns but the number of companies is much less in comparison to the required companies. There are various companies which came with unpaid internship opportunities especially for marketing and sales students

From the third semester onwards the students started sitting for placement. some students also get PPO from the companies with whom they did internships. There are various companies that visited the college such as Bandhan Bank, Annapurna Finance, PWC, Deloitte, Blackrock, PNB housing, Twimbit, and many more on average most of the companies take atleast 6 to 7 students if not more. The highest package is 27lpa where as average is around 5 to 6 lpa. The highest package is offered by DSHAW company to a finance student. around 80 to 90% of the students are getting placed in amity. I will be joining office in which i got placed and would like to gain experience and knowledge there.

The fees are around 400000 per semester there are some scholarships that you can avail of if your score is above 80% throughout. you will get a discount of 10 to 20% based on your previous marks. you can also get a scholarship if you score in the top 5 in the whole course. The college has various companies for placement purposes but there is no job that you can get on the campus itself. The total cost is around 1400000 for the whole MBA course excluding food and hostel. The ROI will depend on the capabilities of the student as the highest package this year was 27LPA whereas the lowest was 4LPA. so it depends on students and also on your previous performance such as the performance in graduation, 10th and 12th as man companies came with a criteria of above 60% throughout.

There are various clubs on campus such as marketing club, debate club, finance club, environment club, and many more. Students can be part of 3 clubs maximum. Various events are conducted by the clubs. Various types of fest are conducted in the college depending on the timings such as Diwali mela near Diwali, There are various tech fest taking place in the college. The annual fest and Amity youth fest are awesome where you can participate and enjoy the college and social life. There is also a sports fest named Sangathan which takes place in amity in the month of September and October. The library is well-equippeded and you also get the access of the online library of amity after enrolling in the course where you can get a large number of journals and books. There are various instagram pages run by club students if you want to know about club activities. hrclubabs is run by HR club, marketingatabs by marketing club, vivaadon_amity by debate club and many more.

The hostel quality is nice. If you are opting for non-ac hostels you are not given single rooms you have to share the room with one or two more people depending on the allotment of the rooms. If you are opting for AC hostels you are given a choice to opt for single rooms depending on the availability of the rooms. In the non-ac hostel, you will get a study table, chair, bed with bedding and pillow. you will also get bedsheet and pillow cover and curtains for your room.there is a common refrigeratoror fridge, microwave and induction for students use. Induction can be used in the morning 8-10a.m. and in the evening 5 to 11.30 p.m. while in ac hostel you get a freeze per three person or room. the induction, microwave and kettle are common. you have lift for up and down which is not there in non ac hostels. The eligibility criteria is you should be a graduate. If you appeared for any entrance exam such as MAT, CAT, SNAP, or any other exam you should have the marksheet. The application form is available on the official website of Amity University. You will get all the details such as the last date of application, the fees of the course and all the needed information. There is only one reservation criterion which is for children of army officers. The process is simple and smooth as students need to answer 3 questions by making a video of themselves while answering and uploading it on the website. The only improvement I feel required is for the interview to be conducted on the site or through online Zoom or MS Teams which will help them assess the student better and will improve the quality of students.

No, we just need to upload our videos of answering three questions given by them and that's it. so there is not much preparation required. But before entering college it will be best if you work on your communication and presentation skills.
