This college is having everything set correctly right from academics to extra curricular activities. Each student stands a chance to show his or her skills and talents. I just love this college

Entrance Preview

I came to know about this college with one of my friend. Then I appeared for its entrance exam and fortunately cleared it too. I took admission in B.Com. We had a brief interview session with some college personnels

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum strictly follows the Syllabus of Ranchi University. It's set in every way to provide the students an ease of learning and understanding. Practical learning is not that much prominent here

Internships Opportunities

There is literally nothing like internships. College also never bothers about all such programs. Still we get sone part time jobs in order to keep ourselves financially updated.

Placement opportunities are there in this campus. Many banking sector companies, taxation and investment companies take interest but the placement average sums up to only 54%

College Events

Events are organised but not that much. If I am correct the last event we had was Sharebazaar where we learnt too much about marketing strategies

The fee is around 45 thousands per year only for tuition fee. The hostel fees is something 55 thousand that is collected separately

Scholarships are provided to meritorious students. Loans are provided to those who have ample assets by some collaborated banks with college

Extra curricular activities such as Bruno fest, Dj nights etc etc are organised. Sports and games are also a part in this organised as Annual Sports Meet

Exams are just Ok. We are not having that much of test in internals but the half yearly exams are too stressful

Great campus life in Jamshedpur

Okay, the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is very specific with the subjects that you Learned in this course. It prepares students for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. They teach you cost accounting, financial management, and HRM, which are very important in companies. The improvements can be done in the course curriculum and teaching methods that infuse real-life examples and also practical Questions and practical Situations to make student Corporate ready And you have to do an industrial visit so that students can know How Real life Actual Company works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

My Low Budget College life in Master at St. Xavier's College Ranchi

I choose St. Xavier's College college over any other college because of it's name (brand) plus it does regular classes and completes it's syllabus on time compared to other colleges who doesn't provide regular classes and never completes their syllabus never on time is a different matter but the whole syllabus never gets covered and most of it is left out. I am comparing it to the Ranchi College, ranchi which is under Ranchi University name as it never does regular classes and never completes it syllabus, it has no proper faculties for each subject, don't do any other extra curriculum activities hardly ever does any practical classes plus there is no internship opportunities....Read More

The best collage in ranchi

I had applied for the Doctor Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University Ranchi. And i got selected there also but i found st xavier's college ranchi is better then that college as this is autonomous applied new education policy of fourth year graduation. I didn't get rejection as i had filled only this two college in ranchi for bachelor's degree.
