Remarks
I cleared The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) with a score 675/720 and got AIR 1215. My admission process was pretty smooth. It included document verifications, medical examination and hostel accommodation. The cut off for my college went upto 630 for general category.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is according to the National Medical Council ( NMC). It also focuses on the ethical grounds of doctor patient relationship. There is also provison of clinical postings , right from second year. We have four exams per year. There is good faculty student ratio
Internships Opportunities
After passing the final year MBBS exam and getting a medical degree, you have to do an one year internship programme in the hospital. There is no rural postings like other state colleges, and you can enjoy a good salary here too
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is extremely low. Its only 5000/- for the whole course. On top of that you get almost 30k in your intership per month. It is really affordable for students from all strata of society.
Campus Life
The life at Campus is pretty good. There are students from different parts of the country and all sorts of culture and festivals are celebrated equally. Our college also harbours a number of clubs include the literary club, art club, cultural club, chess club, to name a few.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is superb. We get single rooms for ourselves. All the problems are adressed by the hostel warden at once. There is also stringent security , especially in the girls hostels. The hostel mess food is average and it takes care of the students' health and benefits.
