I think our department should increase more faculty members so that the academic network can be improved in our department basically.
Entrance Preview
I had given both exams WBJEE and AIEEE and got allotted in JGEC in WBJEE by pursuing a standard general merit rank in the branch of ECE. There was no interview process held. This course I opted was totally on me.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course I chose is below my expectation in this college. The practical facility might have been more improved consisting high quality kits of sufficient amount. Research initiatives like seminars, workshops on Robotics, MATLAB etc.
Internships Opportunities
Internship process is basically handled by the students themselves. The HODs are helpful to provide NOC letters to get internships. Most of the interns are unpaid.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is relatively low in comparison with other colleges. Nearly 60% students get recruited in recent years. The major companies are TCS, CTS, SPCL providing a avg package of 3.3 LPA.
Fee Structure And Facilities
As this is a Government college, the fee structure is not so much expensive. Total fees for 1st year is Rs.22000 and Rs.15451 for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year each.
Faculty
Faculties are quite interactive. They provide good teaching to us to understand efficiently. But the other departments have more faculties than our department.
