Remarks

It is a well structured well established college in west bengal. I had lots of memories which I will be taking to bihar and I will miss this environment

I joined this college through quota as i am a resident of bihar. I achieved a choice of learning ECE in this college for four years.

I have a course of ECE which mainly deals with electronic devices and communication and its accessories. It also included a part of computer science as elective.

Internships Opportunities

To showcour pratical skill every semester we try for internships and projects at various colleges or universities through mail.

Placement Experience

Placement never had a problem in this college as we have an interactive TPO. We had companies like sap labs, tcs, cts, capgemini and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I stay in hostel so have to pay 69,000 per sem or else fees is rupees 42,000 per semester. The later only exclude mess rent and seat rent.

Our teachers are well timed and smart enough to come over any problem in the toughest time also. We also have hi-fi laboratories.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
