Course Curriculum Overview
Instrumentation and Electronics. Faculty is quite disciplinarian, overall helpful. Faculty : Student ratio is 1:4.3 (for per year) 1:17 (for overall combining students of 4yrs) Faculty qualifications range from PhDs in JU, IIEST, IISc, IIT KGP
Internships Opportunities
Texas Instruments, Microsoft , Accenture , PwC , Schrodinger , AMD , and a few more are the ones providing internship opportunities in JU Research internship within JU or elsewhere like IISc, IIT-D/B/KGP
Placement Experience
placement differs amoungst departments but on an average 15LPA average in plavements can be expected overall highest being CSE , followed by ETCE , IT , IEE , EE..... and so on. Return of investment is way beyond IITs considering the mere tuition fees
Fees and Financial Aid
fee structure in every Engineering course in JU (except IT) : Rs. 12000 for 4yrs (3000/yr or 1500/semester) where as for IT : Rs.120,000 for 4yrs (30,000 per year) Tuition fee waiver applies for students in need
Campus Life
lot of cultural fests (i.e. 3 fests of "Sanskriti" organised by the 3 main disciplines in JU (arts , science & engineering and tech) CIIPPUS (salt lake campus freshers') and imdividual departmental freshers') tech fest (Srijan) and many small techno-management events

apply and sit for WBJEE which is for Engineering colleges in WB. Most engineering colleges in WB have 90% state reservation within cutoff of 1000 general students can land in any of the branches in JU
