- We have anti ragging club and many more. We Also have our college union clubs to help us with any problems
- We have different scholarships like Swami Vivekananda scholarship and Kanyashree and Also rail concession.
Dislikes
- We don't really have a great campus life
- The infrastructure of the college should be a little more better and beautiful
- We don't really celebrate too many functions and fests
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly I would say my psychology department is one of the best departments of our college. The faculty members are really good and very strict. We don't feel like we r in a college. It still feels like being in a school. Our teachers really spoon feeds is when it's necessary. Choosing psychology and this college was whole my personal interest. We have 50 students in our 2nd year class. Teaching methods of our professors r just amazing. They try to complete our course and all necessary practical before our main exam. So that we get time to study during exams and not stuck with our practicals. And there is nothing like difficult or easy to pass, it's just that if you study it's easy and if u don't it's really tough to pass. After every 3 months we have internals and after 5 to 6 months we have semester exams . Just that our teachers r not really friendly with us, rather they r really strict.
Fees and Financial Aid
I'm pursuing psychology honours in this college and it's a 3 years course. After every semester we r asked to pay 6500-7000 rs and exams fees excludes. There r scholarship available like Swami Vivekananda scholarship, Kanyashree etc.
Campus Life
The professor of our department provides us with necessary notes and they also refer us the books which we need for particular semesters. Books r easily avail in the market as well as online. We have one big annual fest . Apart from that small functions like Saraswati Puja , freshers, farewell etc are also celebrated.we don't really have college week or college fest etc in our college.
Admission
Admission process was quite smooth. We filled our forms and waited for our name to be on the merit list. I name was in top 50. So I got my name in 3rd merit list. You will get the form in college portal. Reservations are available as it is a government college. And Many courses r available. I'm pursuing psychology honours here.
