This is one of the reputed College in West Bengal, so I choose this College . All the faculties are very helpful. Faculty:students ratio is 1:20. All the faculties have B.Tech and M.Tech degree. If you study well in the class then exams are not difficult .

You can have some good quality of internship in this colleges. Very good projects are to be made by the college in every year. TCS ,WIPRO, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT gives placement and internship. In the college of engineering and management.

Course fees are very minimum. You can get many scholarship in the college. You can get job and internships in the companies like TCS,WIPRO, COGNIZANT, INFOSYS and many more. Placement status of the college is very good

Campus Life

Annual fest is SPANDAN and tech fest is Tech. Fest are conducted in month of April. A large number of books are available for students. Classrooms are good and Laboratories are excellent. There are many types of sports available.

Hostel Facilities

There are hostel facility available in the college. Meals are good quality and menu is excellent. You should pay the hostel fees and contact with the Warden to get a room in hostel. You should have 4 beds,2 beds and single bed room as well.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Admission

After passing WBJEE anyone can get a chance to get admission in the college. There is a reservation for the TFW students. The students who wants admission should come to the college for fill up application form. No application fees required.

Interview Experience

The students should pass WBJEE or JEE-MAIN for the admission in the college. If you pass any of those exams you should not face any Group Discussion or written Test. Prepare well for WBJEE or JEE-MAIN for admission

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
