Course Curriculum Overview

I am from an agricultural family so I wanted to improve the agriculture field by using technology so I choose this course Students near about 120 Three are two terms in every semester .Very difficult to pass

Class Size: 1200Course Fees: INR 260000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In every semester we should pay our semester fees around 13100 it is so much for this course the placement cell is not so much active. We who are eligible get scholarship from the university or the svmcm scholarship

Campus Life

Ujaan 2k23 is held library is so good the all books we for the semester exam we can take from the library, we don't buy any book ???? ???? we have a Facebook page named uttara where the college programmes are streamed

Hostel Facilities

Meal quality: Three days chiken , two days fish , two days egg , fried rice only for Sunday , dal , salad , vegetables Mess fees come around 2500 ruppes only. In hostel room s all the facilities is provided

Admission

Wbjee rank is needed within 20000 is allowed The form i can get from the wbjee site then I came to the university then the admission process is done . There are some reservations seat for SC st and OBC. OBC around three seats sc around five. seats and st around three .

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I applied to Surendranath College in department of Zoology. But I didn't take admission in that college because this field of agriculture has better career opportunities than that one. I didn't get rejected from any college. The admission process In my university is very transparent and clear. Any 12th pass candidate with 60% marks or more is eligible to apply. Also anyone can get admission through the all India entrance exam conducted by ICAR. The overall admission experience is very good and clear.
