Course Curriculum Overview
I completed my Diploma recently. After that I want to do my higher studies that's why I choose this college. Our college has enough faculties. The faculty members are highly educated. They did PHD. The exams are conducted on semester basis which are controlled by MAKAUT.
Internships Opportunities
Recently several companies gives internships to our students. Some of the companies are Microsoft, Amazon, Sharechat etc. They provides a stipend of 40 thousand per month. From the internships the students gets additional experience and knowledge.
Placement Experience
From seventh semester the students are become eligible for campus placement. The companies that visits our campus frequently are Cognizant, Almart, Infosys, TCS, Wood etc. The highest package of our campus 42LPA. More than 80% of students get placed from our college.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a Government Engineering college the admission price does not hikes here. During the course you can apply several types of scholarships like OASIS, AIKASHREE, SVMCM etc. The SVMCM scholarship gives 60000 per year.
Campus Life
Our college has one annual fest called ESPECTRO. The fest has two parts one is Cultural part called Exotica and the other one is tech part called Tactix. Our college has a Central Library from there you can collect any books. Our college has 13 different types of clubs.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is good but the meal are not that good. The meal quality is below average. Here meal are gives two times daily. One at Morning and other one at Night. For admission into hostel you have to fill the admission form and pay the fees.
Admission
For pursuing B.Tech you have to complete 12th or Diploma. After that you have to clear WBJEE or JELET exam. Then you will be eligible for the course. The exam form is available at WBJEE website. Our college provides different reservation quotas like ST, SC, OBC etc. Our college takes too much documents at the time of admission. I think that need to be made simplier.
Interview Experience
Our college does not conduct any Group Discussion or Interview at the time admission. For admission you have to clear Joint Entrance Examination first the do your councelling. After that a college will allocated based on your councelling.
