I am now in my 2nd year, so I don't know, but my seniors are getting good jobs; they got a minimum 2 lakh package on campus. The college provides Swami Vivekananda Scholarship. and the fees of the college per year are like 90,000.

The college organized a cultural and tech fest, which it will organize by a 3rd year senior. Our library is too good and quiet; there they provide many types of books, which I want. The college also organizes athletics for sports, and seniors are organized for departmental sports like cricket, basketball, football, and others games.Seniors help us make websites and run coding programs.

Admission

In this college, there is no eligibility, but I got admission in this college based on my wbjee rank; my rank was 57,000, and I took a btech course in the College of Engineering and Management, Kolaghat. My department is electrical engineering.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
