It is a highly reputed institution in durgapur. Not only engineering but also other branches of arts and commerce are being taught here. Fees structure is a bit high but due to the high infrastructure it doesnt affect the student that much.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for wbjee examinations in 2015 and with a general merit rank got a choice in this college. Through e counselling I got Information Technology as my department here. With increasing software companies I took it as a good option and took admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I was really satisfied when i went through the syllabus of Information technology in our college. Also I am happy with the faculty of our college. Besides course knowledge they also succeed in providing outer knowledge which increase our hunger to know more.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are not provided by college. They are achieved through personal mails to professors of other universities or companies. The mails which get replies try to contact and take projects under the supervision of the mailed person.
Placement Experience
For engineering students now most recruitment are in software companies. So IT department was the right choice by me. Companies like TCS, sap labs, Tech mahindra, CTS capgemini visits our campus every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I stay in mess so I have opted out of hostel accommodation. Our college fees is approx. 69,000 rupees per semester including hostel for all departments and rupees 42,000 except hostel fees. Since it is a private college so fees structure is a bit high.
Faculty
We have faculties for each department who have special knowledge in their field of interest. Professors are quite helpful and interactive with the students. Also extra classes are given in case of missed out classes and general classes timing is from 11 am to 5 pm.
