Till now there is no point of complaint against the system or authority. But our department needs to be improved a bit more as some of the lab kits are out dated and some not working.
Entrance Preview
I appeared for jee mains but since the performance was not pretty good so i sat in e counselling for wbjee after getting a descent rank. Then I was allotted electronics branch in jalpaiguri government engineering college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Since there are lot opportunities in future regard to this branch I took it up. Moreover, there are elective subjects of data structure and java so we can have knowledge of computer science basics as well.
Internships Opportunities
Internships and projects are taken under by many students of all year irrespective of department every year. Research paper work are also conducted and some of the paper are selected in IEEE too.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite good with the support of our passout seniors and all day working TPO sir. Companies like TCS, cognizant, ericsson, vodafone, SPCL and many more visits our campus for recruitment and the deserving candidates are selected.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For electronics and computer science department fees per semester is 8,500 rupees and for hostel is 12,000 per semester for all department. For rest of the department the college fees is rs 5,500 for civil, electrical and mechanical engineering and for IT it is rs 14,000 per semester.
Faculty
The faculty in ECE department is comparatively a bit casual then other department so we can get time to study and also stressless classes. Our department teachers are quite helpful and supportive.
