Remarks
Since the college is managed by a different organisation(TTD) which is based in a different part of the country, most of the decisions are based on the cultures, traditions and beliefs of that organisation which could be paradoxical to the students studying here. For example, not providing non-veg food in the hostel is a dolor for people like me.
Entrance Preview
There is no entrance examination for my course i.e., B.Com(P). I actually wanted to take admission in Shri Ram College of Commerce. Unfortunately I didn't have maths as one of my subjects in class twelve.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is really not exceptionally good. B.com(H) and B.Com(P) have almost the same sort of syllabus and the former has a greater value which demotivates the students of the latter course in spite of them having studied zealously just like the other students and getting plunged in a situation where they watch the other students of their same department get better placements, perquisites, etc,. repenting had they studied maths.
Internships Opportunities
This college doesn't provide any sort of internships by itself through any course albeit it's got placement programmes that happens yearly and are sublime opportunities for those looking to improve their C.V.
Placement Experience
L&T,Dabur,Nestle, McKinsey, Deloitte and many other reputed companies came for placement last year. Average package was of 13.4 lac. Around 80% students were placed in good companies.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are satisfyingly feasible. Anyone could afford it and is approximately INR 10000 yearly. Hostel fee is approximately INR 7000 or INR 8000 monthly.
Faculty
The situation of the faculty is appalling especially of the commerce department. All of the teachers are qualified but none enough to be a professor or a teacher in University of Delhi. Almost all of them takes class in 'Hindi' forgetting the fact that students come from all over India and most of them have trouble grasping what's being taught.
