If we talk only about our department then it needs improvement or else being a government engineering college it has a lot of scope and some seriously good faculties.
Entrance Preview
Ever student has to appear for WBJEE or JEE mains after higher secondary studies to get chance in any engineering college. I secured a descent rank in WBJEE in 2016 and was admitted to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am studying in the department of Electronics and communication engineering. I chose this course because of my love for physics electronic device chapter. I want to know more about communication and electronic devices.
Internships Opportunities
Since the study pressure is low in our department compared to other departments so students work on online internships through internshala also.Other projects or internships are achieved through mail during winter or summer vacation.
Placement Experience
Jobs scope are a bit low in our campus so only the well deserving candidates make it out. Companies like TCS, tech mahindra, coca cola, CTS, vodafone, SPCL mainly comes for recruitment after an online Apti exam.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fees for ECE and CSE department is same that is rs 8,500 and for civil, mechanical and electrical it is rs 5,500. Finally, for IT department the fees is rs 14,000 only per semester. Our hostel fees is rs 12,000 per semester.
Faculty
We have experienced faculty members but classes conducted are a bit lesser in number. If tried then the knowledge of our professors are to much to enrich ours to a high level. We have an active head of the department and rest professors and assistant professors.
