Term exams occur earlier than other university and I think that's a benefit. I always loved working with electronics and softwares so I definitely had a dream to pursue this course. Student ratio is much more than expected. The faculties are really highly qualified. They always try to provide us the best of knowledge they have and they always comes up whenever and wherever we need help. Terms exams occur earlier than other universities and yes it difficult to pass but if u focus on what teacher is teaching in class then you can definitely score good marks.

My college had given us the opportunity to do internship in 1st year itself that can be work from home , which I think is really a good initiative they have taken. With this we can actually get an idea about how the office life is and also we gain experience which will be helpful during the placements.

Campus placements were quite good upto 2023 batch. But this year many companies are not hiring employees anymore which is the major reason for the downfall in Campus placements. I hope the situation will get better next year. Last year the highest package was 72 LPA and average package was 8.83 LPA. This year till now only 184 students got their placements and many are yet to get. I am planning for doing m.tech after this degree.

Fees for all the streams of B.tech is same I.e. 7 lakh 10 thousand. Yes you can apply for scholarship and there are many students who already got scholarship from my batch. Campus job is also quite good.

We are going to have our first fest of 2024 on the 27th and 28th of January EUTOPHIA which is a literature fest and there are so many events happening on that day. Am really excited for that day. Then we are having our techfest might be in February (date not fixed yet). Then we are going have our biggest annual fest ECSTASIA on 8th and 9th March. Also there are so many types of events happening every other day throughout the year. Sports and extra curricular activities are also quite good here. Students also participate in inter-college competitions. There are a lot of clubs run by students of UEM Kolkata. I recently joined ULTIMATORS(dance club).

I have appeared for the IEMJEE examination which is an entrance exam for getting admission in only IEM kolkata, UEM Kolkata, UEM Jaipur. And then I got a mail that I have cleared the examination a r they called me to the campus for the counseling and then on the same day I got my admission done. You all can find the application form online and there is no application fees, it's totally free and exam occurs between jan-may.
