Course Curriculum Overview

I Choose this Course Because I am from Computer Background and I love to do Coding and Tech Related Course.Our Faculty members are very well educated and cooperative and they teaches us very well.The exams are very difficult to pass but our teachers are teach us so carefully so we easily pass the exam .

Internships Opportunities

The internships are available in 2nd year to 3rd year and some students are selected in the internships program. In 3rd and 4th we also have a internship program..Many projects are there in my college.

In Third year we will get a internship opportunity.The percentage of students getting placements are 30-40%.My plans after the getting degree is open a startup.The Companies Visited are Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, TCS,IBM

In 2023 this course is so cost to study.Every year we have to pay 175000.Our college gives a scholarship opportunities so we can manage.The Campus placement is as well as other universities.So Normally is is so cost to study.

Diwali Celebration and many college fest are there in our college.There are many Tech Group are there in our BTECH study.There are many Sports opportunities in our college.The Inter college Sports are there in every year.

Our college take a admission Exam that name is SNUJEE and a interview Or We take a admission with WBJEE Rank Card .This is a 4 year Course. The Admission process is so easy.There is no Reservation Process.

Interview Experience

We face interview and admission test and the topic is 10+2 based science questions.We prepare for this exam only some sample questions of class 12th.If we have the JEE rank then easily got the admission.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

Insights of SNU

There are a few private colleges present in Kolkata which provides biotechnology but in my opinion the labs of those colleges are not as well furnished as ours. There curriculum is little different than ours. I didn't apply to any other colleges apart from Snu for biotechnology I sat for an online exam .And I cleared the test. Once you get a call you visit the college campus meet the faculty and the faculty may take a type of interview session The addmission process is smooth. But sometimes the staff members of admission makes blunder. My classes were about to start from 17 August, but they called me during July( because she didn't know that biotechnology does not fall under para- medical and made a mistake and for her mistake I had to suffer as I'm not a resident of Kolkata)...Read More
