ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY A COLLEGE YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER LOOKING INTO

ECE is an excellent choice for individual having interest in both hardware and software portion of engineering. AOT provides great placements througout several tech and core companies depending on one's taste and oviously merit. The faculty is great to say the least, there arev total of 4 assesments before your semester final exam and the professors make sure that there is no unfiniished topics before the exams.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. There are several companies such as TCS, Cognizent, etc recruiting the students, you can look up to the college website for exact details.The average package is around 3.9LPA but one can secure placement upto 9LPA if they have the potential. Almost every candidate get placed in a company while several manage to crack multiple offers. I plan on getting placed in a Tech company after i complete my B.Tech graduation

The fees structure is like most of the other private colleges arount 45k per semester. If you are a domicile of WestBengal you can us ethe benifit of SVMCM scholarship, you can recieve an amount of 60k per year untill you make sure to pass all the semester with arount 7 cgpa.

1. The annual fest takes place around the month of April, and there are several tech fest taking place throughout the year. 2. The library is great for renting books, although the study area is not available often but there is no shortage of books. 3. The classrooms, Audiotoriums , Campus are clean and beautiful. 4. There are several co-curricular activities throughout, for sports entuasts there is a basketball court, badminton area, football grounds etc. Talking of extra-curricular groups there are several quiz, competitive evnts etc taking place all most every month. 5. There is a student organizer group for all the departments that conducts several fun activites.

For admission you have to apply for WBJEE examinatios or JEE Mains examination, I applied for WBJEE Examination and secured aaroud 20k rank that earned me a spot on first round councellinng for ECE(Electronics & Communication) department, which i defiintely took. Make sure not to apply for further councelling once you reserve or complete admission in a specific college that may cost you loosing the previously secured college.
