Course Curriculum Overview
I want to do Engineering that's why I took admission into this college. Here enough number of faculty members re available. They all are highly qualified and helpful to us. Most of them are PHD holders. Here exam are conducted in semester basis.
Internships Opportunities
The students of our campus are gets internship from 3rd year itself. The companies that gives internship to our students are AMAZON, MICROSOFT, SHARECHAT, CESC BUDGE BUDGE etc. These companies gives a stipend of average 25 to 30 thousand per month.
Placement Experience
In our campus students are becomes eligible for campus placement till 7th semester. The companies that frequently visits our campus are WOOD INDIA PVT LTD., L&T, HALDIA PETROCHEMICAL, MN DASTUR etc. They give an average package of 4 lakh per year. The highest package of our campus is 42LPA. Around 60 to 70 percentage of students are get placed from campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is a Government Engineering College the fees hike policy is not applied here. Although the admission fees reduced to some extent if you apply for Student Freeship Scheme. During study students can apply several types of scholarships like Oasis, Svmcm, Aikashree etc.
Campus Life
Our college conducts one annual fest every year. The annual fest name is ESPECTEO. This fest has two parts. One is cultural part called EXOTICA and the other one is technical part called TACTIX. One Library is available in our campus that contains enough number of books. Our college also has several groups.
Hostel Facilities
In hostel four students are alloted in a room. The room quality is good. But the meal quality is too bad. Hostel gives meal two times daily. One at Morning and the other one at Night. For admission into hostel you have to fill the admission form and pay the mess fees.
Admission
For admission into B.Tech you should complete your 12th with science or Diploma. Then by giving Joint Entrance Exam you can get admission into this college. The exam form is available in WBJEE official website. Here reservation like ST, SC, OBC etc are available.
Interview Experience
Our college did not conduct any interview or Group Discussion at the time of admission. The admission process is fully based on the merit rank as secured in the Joint Entrance Examination. After clearing the exam students have to do their councelling. That's all for admission.
