- there are a lot of students in the campus, which actually make things more competitive in a already competitive society

Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course because I have a great interest in Economics and the world of finance. The faculty: student ratio is healthy, like 7:59. The faculty is sufficiently qualified with a minimum Ph.D. and the teaching method is fairly good.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities offered by the college are not really sufficient, in the CDC process is quietly biased towards the circuital branches, but you can always get a outside off-campus internships with the tag of IIT
Placement Experience
The placement process starts in the seventh semester and enough rounds of placements are conducted to get you a job. The jobs are offered in almost all roles, and around 80 percent students achieve a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is rigid but there are scholarships offered on different grounds. As for SC/ST students, there are no tuition fees. And for other categories there is income-based scholarship for students.
Campus Life
Life on the IIT Kharagpur campus is great. The hostel life is the backbone of campus life and there are actually so many societies for students to explore their interest and passion and also makes them job ready like consultant.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities in the hostel are adequate for living; there are two sockets, one LAN port, one table and a bed for sleeping. The meal is quality enough but can be better. the hostels are affordable and they are nice
Admission
Admission process was through JoSAA counselling. I took first the entrance exam JEE Main and Qualified it to appear for JEE Advanced. After the Jee advanced there in the JoSAA counselling i chose to go for pursuing Economics at IIT and by my order of choice filling. I got economics at IIT Kharagpur. The admission process was smooth.
