Likes

Good culture and tradition of respecting people of all religions

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it encompasses my strength & vision. It has very experienced and effective faculty members with good teaching methodologies. All faculty members are PhD scholars and have experience of min. 5 years to 30 years of teaching experience. The semester exams are held on the regular dates and its not difficult to pass the exam

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

3rd &4th semester students are eligible for campus placement in 2 year courses. Approximately 10 companies visit per year with offers of around 40 to 50. The highest package was of 14 LPA & avg package is of around 4 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure is 20000 per year and 3.5 Lakh/year for NRI quota students. Currently, no merit scholarship is available, financial assistance is rarely available. There is a placement cell of Management Department which provide average campus placement of around 3 Lakh/year

Campus Life

Annual fest is held in March and tech fest has rarely happened. There is a good collection of books with large seminar library having enormous space with computer & internet facilities. The classrooms are highly maintained and include facilities like of centralised AC, Projector , good seating arrangement and nice ambience. Extra curricular is also available including Table tennis,carrom, snooker and singing.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is inexpensive with fees of ?2000/year but 3 to 4 people in a single room makes it uncomfortable living. Also, there is no chance of getting room if you are a external student. Dining is very inexpensive and provide better food with respect to fees.

Admission

Application form from Official Website of Aligarh Muslim University with application fee of ?900 during the month of Mid February to mid March. Entrance exam of 100 marks then, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Interview Experience

Yes, we had a group discussion among 10 people on a topic of "Made in India" . Then, there was interview which included Personal Interview and questions from graduation domain and our hobbies & interests

Worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements of our college is good. Most of our seniors got placed in good organizations. Companies lying under fortune 500 also comes in our college for placement. And before internship each student have to go through a live project provided by the college which will help in deciding the specialization.

I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

Placement Experience:

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in the college as there is a new placement team hired. which is bringing the result. For my senior batch, companies like Amazon and Toyota came for hiring, and also companies from every domain are coming. The average package was around 9 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I like to interact with different people talk with then know about them. In marketing field it's very common which influence me to chhode this and I have taken finanace as 2nd specialization because I am from accounts background. This college is good for marketing placement also.

A good college for PGDM

Placement Experience:

From the 4th trimester, students are eligible for placement. There are some major companies like HUL, HCl, Dabur, Toyato and they are offering a good ampount to the students like 11 LPA, 12 LPA and also they are coming for higher package like 18 LPA. College have 100% placement record.

Comapny will visit in campus after September. And here alomst 80 to 85 company visit in this college. Likes hdfc, Dabur, icici, mother dairy, wipro, Infosys and many startup companies. And almost all student got job in campus. Last year highest package is 8.5 lacs and average package is 3.5 to 4 lacs. Here almost 90-95% student placed. In starting 5-8 years I make me financially strong and learn about market and condition. After I looking for a startup.

AMU Good But Not Good

I applied to a few other universities along with Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), but AMU was my first preference due to its strong academic reputation, affordable fees, and well-structured curriculum.
