I choose Electronics and Computer Engineering, because it gives you that center field between electronics branch and computer branch, giving you the oppurtuit to choose your carreer or master studies path between either electronics or computer. Vit has plenty of good faculties, around 5:70 ratio. They really care for you and are very approachable. Some faculties will be looking forward if any student will aproach them to know about the reseach they have been doing.and you may also have the oppurtunity to research along with them, boosting your resume. Techers here are people who have done their studies in reputed universitied like IIT madras, bombay and kharaghpur. and they are very interactive while teaching. they make the student to understand the core concept and visualize how everything works. Exams are kinda medium hard. but its very easy to pass, you have more than enough time to prepare and ace the exams. There are 2 exams names CAT1 and CAT2 in middle of the sem and 1 finals.

i havent goone to a internship but i have heard that, landing a internship is really really hard in vit chennai like you have to be very skilled enough to land on a intership. But if you consistently work from start, you can easily even land a intern at wipro or paypal etc.

Placements are offered from 6th semester. companies like microsoft, infosys, airtel, tata, morgon stanley, amazon, paypal etc.. visit here. and this year there were 904 company visits and 12000 placement offerss made. average is around 7.9 to 8.9 and highest was 70 LPA. the persentage of placement is 85%. my plan after getting a degree is just goin to work.

fees is completely based on your VITEEE exam. there are different catefories from 1 to 5. Category 1 costs round 2 lac's while Category 5 costs 5lac's. Category 1 is given to students with best rank in that cource they wish to take in that speific vit brach. There are plenty of job oppurtunities and internships you can get here. if you get viteee rank of 41000 you can get Electronics and Computer Engineering for fees 449000 per year in vit chennai.

There are 2 biggest annual fest namely TechnoVIT and Vibrance. TechnoVIT happens during November and Vibrance happend during March. VIT chennai has a 5 floor library with ac and discussion rooms. with plenty of books across various fields of reseach and subject. Classes are equiped with projectors, podium stands and sofa seat beanches. with white board and availabilty of mic and speakers. there are various clubs you can be a memeber of based on your interest. There you can make connections and find friends of your interest. You have everything you think of so chill! I like coding. so here are some of the technical clubs of vit chennai : iee robotics and automation society, linux club, google dev social club, cubit, bandVIT etc.

You have your own cupboard, desk, shelf, bunk bed. you have a Daikin AC, a lot of charging ports and a gym and a swimming pool and lot of mini food stalls etc. mess food is good. If you dont like it you can change the caterer. there are 6 caterer's in vit chennai. registration process for hostel happend during the councelling registration of the course. Hostel price is 'OKISH' it isnt that expensive mentioning its CHENNAI a metro politon city.

The admission process is completely based on the VITEEE exam. you can find the application form for the viteee exam in their viteee website. After you take the VITEEE exam which happens once in a year, you have to wait for your rank and then the councelling procedure starts. The councelling procedure is same as the other universities. It is important to note that there aren't any reservation for vit. The vit could conduct their entrance exam twice a year, which could be really helpful if someone messes up their first exam.
