Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is well designed for all branches. The faculty members are well educated and taught us very well. All the faculty members are from NIT DGP and some are from different IITs. Faculty members are done PhD or M.tech. Let's talks about exam, two semester are done in one year. In semester exam you have to do exam in under cctv surveillance.

Class Size: 126Course Fees: INR 144100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The privious fees structure of our college is changed in this year. West Bengal govt. Published a notice and ask to fees enhancement in this year. Our totally cost in this course is around 6 lakh and 5.5 lakh for core branches Our college provides many scholarships schemes like Svmcm, oasis if you are West Bengal domicile.

Campus Life

Our college organised many fest in this year. Our annual tech fest is Horizon 2k24 Our college organised annual sports in this year. The college have big two ground also one for cricket and other one for football. Our campus is very big and greenery.

Admission

After 12th Board exam, you have to sit for Jee main or WBjee entrance exam. If your Rank Under 30000 in Wbjee and 1.5 lakh in Jee main then you got chance to admission here after doing Counselling in CSE only. Our college has direct admission in Core branches like CSD, EE, ME, CE etc.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

The main reasons for choosing this college was- 1.I had heard a lot about this college in terms of teaching style and the other faculty members. 2. This college provides a good placement . 3.
