Pros, Cons, and Everything In Between: A Deep Dive into BIMTECH

I chose this course at BIMTECH because I want to go into the field of insurance and BIMTECH comes at the top list when you are planning your career in insurance. Insurance is a growing sector with only 4% penetration in the Indian market. The faculty ratio is good 1/5. The majority of the faculty members are Ph.D. and Doctorate holders and know the domain and have corporate experience. Exams in BIMTECH are conducted on a trimester basis and are moderate if you pay attention in class then there is no problem.

The internship opportunities are there in college. Many companies come for interns in college. and the majority of them are paid once with 10000- to 20000 stipends. Companies like Go Digit, TATA -AIG, Marsh, Hero, and BAJAJ come for interns. The roles the company offers are Sales,BA and operations. Locations the company provides are generally PAN India for interns.

As we come to placements BIMTECH holds a pretty decent position with a 1200000 average and the highest was 2300000 The insurance program holds the record of 100% placements, The companies visited campus include Black Rock, TATA-AIG. Go Digit, HERO, KPMG. all the students got placed by the end of Dec. and 75% students of IBM got placements in Nov only. BImtech is good when it comes to placements. I am planning to go for placements only after getting a degree .

The tuition fee is 1100000 and maybe this year the college is increasing the fee to 1300000 the tuition fee is good as the average of the college placements is between 11 to 12 lakh and I find the tuition fee is good for students who want to do MBA in 10 to 15 lakh with decent placements. the college provides merit-based scholarships and also cast or income-based scholarships. the topper of the trimester also gets 50000 each trimester. IBM holds the record of 100% internships and placements.

Life at Bimtech is good and the campus hosts various functions throughout the year. Prakrida, Vihaan, Spardha and many more. Various clubs and conduits are also there to enhance your knowledge i am also a part of club INMOS. BImtech also hosts a one-day alum hosting function known as reflections. each year. library of Bimtech is very big and holds a large amount of books and research material.

I found accommodation charges pretty high in Bimtech as they are charging 200000 per year the quality of food in Bimtech is decent and much better than any other colleges and the hostel roomes are old fashion and have LAN for internet which is outdated and old fashion. but the hostel is neet and clean and provides proper hygienic conditions. The hostel facility is compulsory and the registration is done with the admission process only

I opted for PGDM-IBM in the year 2023-2025 batch. I got admission through MAT having 85%tile in it, The admission process was simple and related to your academic and professional career and extra you have done, All the information related to the admission is available on the website of BIMTECH and the application fee is RS.2000. The college provides reservation of EWS and various scholarships are also there and merit base scholarships are also there. The admission process is good & if we talk about transportation and accommodation the arrangements are pretty good here.

BIMTECH used to take both GD and PI for admission earlier but now only takes the PI for admission from the last 2-3 years the PI is a very simple test of your basic understanding and knowledge and asks about your academic and professional career only. Being aware of what is going on currently helps you in the pi round. the process of PI is between 10 to -15 minutes. The admission criteria are your entrance score and your previous academic marks and work experience.
