Likes

Heling students to work on with their hobbies with studying on rhe other side.
Placements are really good many different companies come to provide jobs to the students.
The college infrastructure is good here different couses be it for btech, mtech, bca, bba, mba, mca are all separated nicely for the students as well as the faculty to understand.

Dislikes

The behavior of some of the faculty members are not friendly they behave very rudely with the stdents

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to study with this course. Student ratio was fine(total 130 student in cse course) The faculty had phd qualification. 6months gap between the semisters and in between them internals were taken by the college. The question looked tricked but wer easy.

Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities

1stop,Microsoft,etc companies had offered for intership opportunities. They give 3months of teaching for the choosen subject. And after 3months they provide us with project it can be group project as well a single person project for which they will also provide salary to us.

Placement Experience

From 3rd year students are eligible to receive company job offers. And in case of interships students from 1st year are eligible to work on different course and submit projects like an company employ instead of thee college projects. My plan is to do mtech in cse after completing btech.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were okay here the cost of studying a course here was like other colleges only Scholarships wer given for intership programs and other extracurricular activities also. All kinds of job for different courses are offered here.

Campus Life

The central Library of the colleges had many useful books for the students to understand different concepts easily. There were amenities in the class room. Different indoor and outdoor sports were available for the students, the college also have a music club where students can work with their hobbies with studying on the other side. Gdsc community is carried out by the students.

Admission

Admission process was very easy. I showed the Jee mains result/rank card. I took direct admission. The result percentage of class 10 and 12 were given. Many different courses were available in this college among them I choose cse. The anti ragging affidavit was also filled up during the admission process.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
