Likes
- I like the classrooms very much as it is always chilled in summers and they are also clean as always it provides us good environment so that we can sit and study there.
- Computer labs are good having high end pcs where we sit and practice c codes and Linux programs.
- Faculty is really helpful they guide us in every aspect they tell us how we can grow our skills and get placed.
Dislikes
- Seniors are really rude I don't like talking to them very much but sometimes they help us providing previous year papers and notes of there batch.
- Playground is really small 🙃 and common to techno main which is always full so we have to wait so that we can play in that ground.
- Elevator is always full we need to use staircase for 5th floor which is a pain for me 🥲
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus and course are good based on placement purpose, we also have subjects like casd which helps us grow some field knowledge and skills ????, overall curriculum is good faculty ratio is also decent for every subject we have almost 1:20 faculty to student ratio, also in subjects like physics and maths we have different teachers for different chapters. Faculty here are also qualified and experienced ???? they all have proper knowledge of there subjects. We have one mid term (MTA) and one end sem over every semester like 2 main exams per semester where it is so easy to pass if you solve the previous years or teachers notes ????.
Fees and Financial Aid
This college is a bit affordable as you can complete your btech under 7 lacs wether in other private colleges they charge you 15-20lacs as fees and student loan is also available here, scholarship for west Bengal domicile students ???? but couldn't claim that as I am not from West Bengal. They only charge you tution fees and exam fees(2000rs/sem). As you reach 3rd year intership drives take place where students can grab internships which could turn into PPO many of my seniors grabbed such opportunities may be I too get that ????... Overall placements are good ???? if you are looking for a college which affordable fees and decent placements you can come to techno India University.
Campus Life
The name of tech fest in my college is VIVARTA it is conducted in the month of June/July mostly by the technical club of techno India University, it is good I haven't attended it yet but heard from seniors, may be this year I get a chance to attend the fest ????. Library is pretty small, don't have space even to sit and study but you can get your course books there which we need to submit before the particular semester ends. Fully ac classrooms with projector and white boards, whole building have AC rooms and good elevator(which is mostly full). We also have a playground where we play football, cricket, badminton and other outdoor games managed by seniors. We have cultural clubs, tech clubs, and many other clubs named - sahotsava, nrityaksh, chitraka etc.
Admission
Got this college throught wbjee councelling round 2 and came for document verification and admission process in the techno India University building in Salt Lake sector 5 Kolkata, the process was overall good and I got admitted very easily, wbjee exam was also very easy where I got around 15000 rank which got me CSE branch in techno India University ???? faculty was also really helpful in whole admission process guiding me through my admission.
