Remarks

On my own experience i will recommend the college to everyone and it is really, nice place to study.

Entrance Preview

AIEEE 2011 marks 215 rank 9463. I selected this college because of its reputation and the quality of faculty and placements. Also Jaipur is a very good place for study for higher exams such as CAT.

Course Curriculum Overview

The civil engg. department at MNIT is very good and the overall faculty is very concerned about research and teachers are very helpful in your studies.

Internships Opportunities

In civil engineering branch you dont get internships but there are few option in computer science like Amazon, Flipkart, Sapient, Nagaroo, Infosys, Dell, Hp and few others.

The Placement percentage is around 80% out of the total no. of students registered for it and the average package of college is 6.5 lakhs.

College Events

There are 2-3 fests are being organized every year and 2-3 sports event which include all the major sports. The college is highly concerned for sports and all India advani memorial basketball tournament is organized every year on a regular basis on national level.

The fees is around 1 lakh per year of 50k per semester and below is the description : 26700 tuition fees 2300 mess and hostel fee.

Placement are decent in my point of view as college manage to provide campus placement to every eligible students as company ask for your Overrall grade point of the student and apply their standard as 6.5 ogpa or without any backlog and take exam of aptitude and it is based on company policy they take group discussion and then personal interview and if it is software company then coding rounds also. Students in7th semester are ready for placement. In current scenario 6 companies have visited the campus and around 40-45 offers has been given to students. Here each company come with only one package and different job roles some company came with 5.5 lpa and some with 5 lpa and some with 7 lpa so maximum till now from college is 7 lpa and average till now of placed students is 5.5 lpa. 60 percent of students get placed in past years stastics. My plan is to go for higher education ie mtech from good institution.

Each year in seventh semester placement companies visit college for taking students. In mechanical engineering Vedanta and Secure meter come for taking students. The average placement of this college is seven to eight lakhs and highest placement is twenty two lakhs. The best part is the placement in core companies. The average placement CGPA REQUIRED FOR PLACEMENT IS SEVEN CGPA.

Mnit jaipur is very good among other nit's, except some minor problems.

I had also applied to nit bhopal where i could get electrical but that was so old infrastructure and its location is also outskirts and choose mnit due to its location and social life and city . Mnit Jaipur top NIT ?

I applied to a few NITs and state colleges but chose MNIT Jaipur because it has better infrastructure, faculty, and placements compared to others. I got admission offers from MNIT Jaipur and one or two other NITs, but MNIT felt more promising for electrical engineering. I faced rejection from some colleges due to lower JEE Main rank. MNIT’s admission is mainly through JEE Main, which is the most preferred exam for most students here. The cutoff for electrical engineering is quite high, around 15000-25000 rank, depending on category. The admission process was straight forward register on JoSAA, choose preferences, and seat allotment happens based on rank. Overall, it was smooth and transparent.
