The environment and campus is good for students.
The placement is good and average package is moderate.
The seniors of our College is very helpful.

Dislikes

Some of the teachers use PPT or books for studying.
The average pakage is not good in this year placement.
The seminar hall is not sufficient for all the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

im personally love this path to do work with computers and the main reason is that to make money as i can... So at that time i thought that this was the best course for future then i decided to do Btech In this college there are lots of good faculty members whom help every students to study hard and scores a good mark in the examination... Most of every faculty members have done their MTech or PHD degrees in that particular subjects which they taught

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 84300 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is same as compared to private institutions. The average fees is about 85k. The campus jobs are good as compared to other institution in durgapur. Above 90% students got placed in 2023. But in 2024 the placement is not as good as expected.

The campus life and college environment is good. The campus and infrastructure of our college is good and huge as compared to other colleges. The are many clubs in our college which conducts many fest and program.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
