Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course to develop my skill in software management and development. Faculty student ratio in the university is decent. Students get enough time to consult individually to their professors for their need. Every teacher, professor is highly qualified from different places among India. There are two term exams in every semester - mid and end. If you have strengthen your basics by focusing in the class regularly then you do not have to worry about the exams.

Class Size: 78Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements from 4th semester afterwards. Various top grossing companies visted here and visits every year like amazon, TCS etc. Highest package given from the university is recorded 55 lpa and average at 4-7 lpa. 70-75% of students get placed usually on an average.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is fixed for every course according to the different specializations included. The fees get increased by 5-7k every next year during the course. Also a late fine is there if you fail to register in the next semester in due date. You also get scholarships according to your eligibility or if you pass the test, like UP govt's scholarship program etc.

Campus Life

There are many things here to enjoy the college life. Annual fests and programmes happen here like every week. There are many libraries in the whole campus among a big central library. Many sports clubs and music dance clubs are there running by the faculties and seniors.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels provided here are the best. You dont have to worry a single penny about it. Proper cleaning to proper management everything is so fine and timely. Quality and menu of the food is good. Snacks given are so tasty here. Registration for the hostel can be done along with the admission process or also later from the official portal of the university. Locality is best. You are surrounded by holy places like vrindavan, barsana etc.

Hostel Fee: INR 110000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of this course is class 12th passed with above 50% marks from any board. You can get the application form from the official website and also from the academic block - 1 in offline mode. You can also avail reservation benefits if you are eligible according to the criteria.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the BCA program because of my interest in software development and web technologies. The curriculum’s focus on core subjects like Java, C++, and Database Management Systems (DBMS) was a major deciding factor, as these are the building blocks for a career in IT. ?The syllabus could be updated more frequently to include emerging technologies like Cloud Computing or AI/ML as core subjects rather than electives. Moving away from traditional rote learning toward more project-based learning would be beneficial. More frequent industry guest lectures would also bridge the gap between academia and corporate life The exam will be I would rate the difficulty as moderate. If you stay consistent with your lab work and internal assignments, the end-semester exams are quite manageable. The technical papers (like Mathematics or Architecture) tend to be the most challenging.

The Good and the Bad about BBD University by a second year student

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are very very average. I say below average because the placement average package of average 500 students was around 4 lakhs. And there are more than 10,000 students in my college. So the placement is very low. And the highest package for BCA, was around 10,00,000 and engineering around 20,00,000. An MBA was also around 13 to 14 lakhs. So the placement is very bad in my college.

From the 5th sem we eligible for the campus placement, There are various highly-reputed companies that come for the placement such as Microsoft, Paytm, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, hcl, etc. Their average package is 2.2 lakh per annum And the highest package is 10 lakh per annum, The average of students for the placement is 80-90%. My plan is to get a good placement from there and to do a job for one or two years after that I will prefer higher education.

GLA Mathura needs to upgrade their hostels!

GLA admission test and CLAT scores both are accepted here and also students with no brainer gets admission here. The reason is university has seats like a pack of cards and any number of students can be admitted here.
