All about BIT mesra.

For the first year the course is same for all the branches. Professors are mostly PhD scholars and have good understanding of the subject but the student has to study on it's own also for better understanding. Term exam were taken as per the schedule. Exam level was moderate.

Various companies come to campus and provide internship. Some companies are attlassian, Microsoft and fastnel. Having a good hold at one codding language and data structure s and algorithms help getting a good internship.

Students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year for they can get a pre placement offer in 3rd year. A lot of companies visit the campus from Atlassian to Intel. Details of this year placement are not available yet. After getting the degree I would either take a job or opt for higher studies.

So the total tuition fee for 4 years is 1655000. although at the starting of first year each student was provided a laptop which costed around 55000rs. Their is a scholarship scheme which provides financial assistance to the students which is Gp Birla scholarship. It's difficult to find job on campus.

The campus is huge and lush green with an area of 780 acres. Campus is fully self sufficient. Their are two major fests that take place one is tech fest pantheon and other is cultural fest bitotsav. We have a huge library with all sorts of books and journals ranging from fiction to academics. Class rooms are well furnished and fully equipped so that their is no lapse in technological perspective when it comes to teaching. Their are almost 40 clubs run by students which will give a very good exposure to students and help in personality development also.

So their is a bit problem in accommodation. We are being provided with single room but double occupancy. Although we have recks and section to keep our stuffs. Meals are of good quality and menu is decided by students. Registration for hostel takes place at the time of admission only. Hostels are affordable.

I gave jee mains exam in which I got 17000 rank. Through jossa counselling I was alloted BIT mesra based on my choice filling. Eligibility is one should have 60% marks in boards and be in the merit List. Reservation are their for NRI, ST, SC and Obc but I didn't belong to any of them so didn't availed it. Admission process was overall smooth.
