I like the subject computer and i like to do coding there fore i choosen the course. Faculty and students ratio is about 3:7 . Quality teaching is provided. Time to time exams are taken along with the semester exams

From 7 th semester we are eligible for placements. Companies such as wipro, campegemini, tcs , and many more offers from college. Highest package is about 12lakh/yr to lowest of 3lakh/yr. 80% students get placement every year.

I got the course fee of 3lakh 64 thousand. College applies scholarship schemes to reduce the fee structure of the students and make them easier to study . Scholarship such as sbmcm, hdfc and many more

Annual fest is organised by zeal and tech fest also. Books are being circulated by the library system. Sports are being organised by the college. Department clubs are organised to perform student according to their skills

Admission process was of 2 types, one is wbjee and other is jee mains. I got selection thorough wbjee with a rank of 6515 in computer science and engineering in Dr. BC Roy Engineering college. Admission process was simple

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

In wbjee minimum rank you should get to admit in cse it branches is 30000... application form are available in college site..it should be better if u do it in offline mode..in a year 2 semesters are organised one in December and one in June....more workers should be hired during admission time.....Read More
