Course Curriculum Overview

I choose it because Information technology is the most demanded with computer science There is faculty available for every subject with also substitute for subjects Mang of the senior faculty already have phd and all the faculty and pre-planned their curriculum There is 4 CAs,2 PCAs them semester Theory and practical paper exam.

Internships Opportunities

Our college provides intership to students who are in 6 ,7 or 8 th semester so currently am not eligible for intership but if i get any intership from outside the staff support and give you leave without nay consequences.

Placement Experience

From 7 th semester students is eligible for campus placement. There is MNCs like cognizant,Tcs , Accenture,Amazon and many more tech company. Highest package I've seen is in 2022 and that was 42 lpa The average package is 5 lpa that also includes CE and ME students From Ec,EE,cse and It there is 80% chance of placement While CE and ME with 50% chance of placement

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is pretty good for it's features and you can afford even without a student loans. Currently i don't get any scholarship but if you a west Bengal resident you can get it and college will help you with their assistance

Campus Life

There is three compulsory event :- Foundation day, Cultural Fest and Sports Event. Other than that there is food fest, farewell and many more You can get every book related to your syllabus right in the library with no extra charges included There is many clubs you can join, there frequently organised competition with provided certificates.

JEE mains + first division in 10th and 12 You can find everything on college website jist search it up on Google You can check in with account department for reservation benefits They are improving on decreasing the multiple visit for admission.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

BCET Durgapur.Good campus but bad faculty and placement opportunities.

I say this earlier. First of all my JEE rank was little bit low, so I can't get any govt college. And at that time the CSE fees in almost every private college is arround 4 lakhs. But they asked high donation. Which was not affordable by my family. So I choose this college. Also I hear all private colleges are same.we have to do everything by ourselves.
