Course Curriculum Overview

the count of student is pretty high. Our branc of CSE with spl. in CPS has a count of about 500+ student. Every faculty here are PhD holders with a great experience. If you want to do reserach activity this is the best place. the exams here are of medium level. It is pretty easy to maintain a CGPA of 8+

At our time of internships, manyinternships wre not directly provided. Instead we had to do some industrial cetifications from eputed companies like amazon and microsoft. but some summer internships were offered by different companies like deshaw, paypal, amazon, microsoft etc.

VIT Vellore has released the placement statistics for 2023. As per the official website, 904 recruiters participated in the placement drive and presented 14,345 job offers to the students till April 4, 2023. The highest package and average package offered during VIT Vellore placements 2023 stood at INR 1.02 crore per annum and INR 9.23 LPA, respectively. Further, 4,461 super dream offers and 3,453 dream offers were received during VIT Vellore placements in 2023. The top recruiters of VIT Vellore in 2023 included Mircosoft, Amazon, PayPal, Cisco, Bank of America, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The academic fees structure is 198000 per year. There are no reservations for fees. instead you have categories based on your rank secured in the VITEEE exam. rough fee structure : Category 1- 1980000 category 2 -300000 category 3 - 400000 category 4-450000 category 5 - 500000

Campus Life

There are two main fest in the VIT, TECHNOVIT and Vibrance. All the books are available in the library related to the courses offered in each semester. All labs are air conditioned but there are no ACs in class rooms. There are about 100+ clubs and chapters in VIT. You can join in any of the club based on your intesret.

Hostel Facilities

* AC (Air-Conditioned) and Non-AC single and shared bed options. * Rooms equipped with ergonomically designed furniture which includes a cot, chair, study table, study lamp, bookshelf and a cupboard. * First aid centre, pharmacy, photocopy service, food kiosks, gymnasium (AC & Non-AC), swimming pool, sport amenities, laundry service, Wi-Fi service, beauty salon, tailoring unit, driving, dance and music classes, utility shop and visitor rooms. * Residential Counselors, Wardens, Supervisors, maintenance staff and security guards available 24x7. * Security guard to chaperone and safe transit students to and from the campus to the nearest railway station and bus stops for late night / early hours of the day. * 24 hours water supply and power supply supported by stand-by captive generators.

Hostel Fee: INR 150000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai Review

I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
