Course Curriculum Overview
This course provides an in-depth understanding of the business domain and increases the professional value of an individual. It provides practical insightful programs as a part of the course like summer internships, social awareness programs, port visits, live projects, and possibilities of case competitions and corporate events. The faculty-student ratio is 1:7, which is optimal as per standards. The faculty is highly trained and educated, having relevant industry experience, research papers, and journals published under their name. The exams are based upon a trimester system, that is 3 exam trimesters in a year.

Companies on the campus were-JP-MORGAN, GODREJ, MONDELEZ, MARS, OLAM, MAERSK, KARGIL, PnG, DABUR, GOLD-MAN SACHS, ITC, CITI BANK, Phone Pay, HALEON, HIMALAYA, SAMSUNG, BRITANIA, and the like. There were various live projects provided by companies like PDS, POTUS, etc.
Placement Experience
The college provides summer internship placements as well as final placements and has a track record of 100% placements in top corporate organizations. The organizations were from various domains including MARKETING, FINANCE, TRADE, STRATEGY CONSULTING, PRODMAN, IT ANALYTICS, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees including hostels is 1100000 per year, including hostels and the exam fees. There is no hike in general, but the candidates should visit the website for regular updates. The fee is half, that is, 1100000 for SC/ST candidates.
Campus Life
The campus is totally student-driven, including scope for academic, professional, as well as social growth. The annual fests conducted are- GRAND ALUMNI REUNION, TRADE WINDS, QUO-VADIS, and ADRENALINE SPORTS FEST. The library is highly tech-enabled and has numerous terminals of research like BLOOMBERG, etc. The classrooms are driven by smart class-based screens and are air-conditioned. The college has collaborated with various other MBA colleges, and there is a high interaction with these colleges through sports, academics, and cultural events.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are well-built and organized. The hostel provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The meal quality is nutritious and tasty. The hostels were quite affordable. The rooms had air conditioners/coolers and heaters, along with separate wash rooms for each room.
Admission
The eligibility of this course is that the candidate has a minimum of 50% in graduation for the general category, and 45 % for the SC/ST category. The admission is through an aptitude-based entrance exam called the IIFT entrance exam. From the year 2023, IIFT has started considering CAT as the entrance exam. You have to separately register for IIFT once you receive your CAT enrollment ID after filling CAT form. The IIFT registration portal is given on its official website. The application fee is 3000 Rs for the general candidates and 1500 Rs for the SC/ST candidates. For application dates, remember to visit the website in September-October. Also, follow the official pages of IIFT on Instagram and LinkedIn. The admission process was smooth and optimal.
Interview Experience
Yes, the process was as follows- APTITUDE ENTRANCE EXAM (this year CAT)- PI, EXTEMPORE & WAT- FINAL SELECTION SHORTLIST. The aptitude exam preparation can be done through coaching institutes like TIME, CL, IMS, ELITES GRID, etc. These institutes also help in the preparation of further rounds.
