What Students Say
Likes
- The curriculum is mind-blowing and very much tech oriented.
- The faculty are industry experts themselves.
- We have a concept of Batch Success Managers who live with us in our hostel and help us whenever we need any guidance.
Dislikes
- Campus. As the college is new, the campus is small and we don't have a great college life.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is what attracted me the most. It is industry relevant and fully tech driven. Faculty members are industry experts who have worked in top tech companies. We don't have term exams, we have contests occuring every other week.
Internships Opportunities
We didn't have our internships yet being in the first ever batch of SST. But SST promises a 1 year paid internship just after 1.5 years of being in college.. let's see what happens after a year cuz for me, it's only been 6 months here.
Placement Experience
I'm from the first batch of SST so we don't have any placement data so far. But we do have data of Scaler Academy and its pretty promising. Mostly only product based companies visit our campus and that's a pro point.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for my batch was 19 lakhs for 4 years but now it has increased. Students can avail scholarship based on their NSET scores and overall grading. I got a 25% scholarship because of my score in JEE...
Campus Life
Life at the campus is pretty normal, not like hyped up colleges. We don't have a great campus life, what we have is a assuring curriculum and we are mostly into studying and coding. But yes, we do enjoy a lot.
Admission
The admission is based on a online-proctored exam NSET followed by a interview. If you clear the interview and exam with good marks, you might get a scholarship too. The application form and other details are available at the official site of Scaler School of Technology.
