- College is in outskirts...so transportation becomes a big issue every time .
- Attendance criteria maintained here is 85% which might be a trouble in future.
- A strict environment is always maintained inside the campus
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose computer science with business system as my course....as computer engineering is a great opportunity for creativity as well as innovation.... business system as an additional course would actually improve more knowledge and can give us an upper hand to win the race ....
Placement Experience
Placement offers provided is also pretty good ....the ratio of placement in all the branches is quite maintained...avg can be expected of around 7-8 lpa...around 100 -150 companies visit in a year and highest package was offered of 44 lpa.... placement percentage is around 80%...my plan is to fetch a good placement offer.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees through comedk is pretty high ....but the college also takes addmission through kcet for the karantaka students only .... offering a lesser fees ....but Bangalore being an IT hub will provide a lot of opportunities with the course...
Campus Life
The annual fest is named anaadyanta fest ...which is the biggest fest of Nmit ....and also the best ... various Books , journals are available in Library and there is a separate room known as reference section which becomes very convenient for the students....there are various clubs which are even run by the students itself and every branch also has some business branch specific clubs as well ... providing greater oppertunities for the students
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees is decent and the process is pretty normal ...which is done after the addmission process in the campus itself...food provided in the mess is also quite good ....a weekly menu is provided and 4 times meal is given per day .
Admission
I got in through writing the entrance exam know as comedk ....which covers all the top colleges offering be /btech course in Karnataka and specifically banglore...found the application form on the website itself, application fee was around 1800 and dates were around jan - feb ....yes there are various reservations available but I didn't get through any of them .
