Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

I choose this course because Iike to do coding. The Course curriculum is good. Except very few faculty, most of the faculty teaches in their own. They are highly educated but I think they are not very well in teaching. The exams held after every 1.5 months

Internships Opportunities

3

The internships opportunities are good here. Many students starts to do internships from 3rd year. Oracle, zerodha, medianet provide internships to the students. Few starts the internships from 2nd year also

Placement Experience

3

College placement is good( but not for etc and ee students) The average placement of this college is 12 lakhs. The companies visited here are zerodha, oracle, median et, etc. The highest placement of the college is 39 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placement are 92%.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college is very high. You have to pay 123000 for only 1 semester and you have to pay extra for mess which is 720 per week. They provide tuition fee wavier but it is only for odia students.

Campus Life

3

Life in college is good. There are not many restrictions as you see in other private colleges. Many fest and events are held in this college. Some event names are tasveer, sapphire, etc. Our annual fest is Advaita which is held on a large scale and is celebrated in the month of February. The library of this college is small but you will get almost all the books. Classrooms are clean but you do not get AC there. Many sports are played in the college- cricket, basketball, table tennis, volleyball, football, etc. There are many societies in which you can join.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

In first year, you will get a 3 bed rooms which is shared by 3 people. If you score more than 8 cgpa, then they will provide you a single room which is like a hotel. The meals are very bad in taste. You will get hostels at the time of admission process.

Admission

I had given JEE mains and JEE advance exam. From JEE mains rank, I get this college and doing btech in computer science. The admission process was done through JOSaa and through JOSaa I got the admission.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
