- Campus is well maintained.Hostel facilities are very very nice as compared to other colleges.
- Bathrooms are well maintained especially it get's cleaned twice in a day.
Dislikes
- Placements is not so good in core branches.
- We have an in time of 9.30. We have to reach campus before time after that the guard write the names of students and call their parents
Course Curriculum Overview
The cousre curriculum was bit change than traditional style of teaching infact NEP is applied for 2024 batch students. The faculty was ok ok not so good not so bad in fact we got some really amazing teachers in some subjects but in some subjets teachers are not really good. The mid semester exam was easy but end sem was little bit difficult .The student to faculty ratio was nice 60:1.Most of the faculty are passed from NIT or any other odisha govt college.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies and role offered under internships with stipened are OCAC : Network consultant ,Project Assistant ,Project Associate,System Manager and Project Manager.Some of the projects are developing a machine translation system for Indian Languages.
Placement Experience
The placement of last year was nice.It was approx 18lpa for CSE branch for IT branch it was approx 19lpa and for ETC and EEE Branch is was 13 lpa and 11 lpa.From 3rd year students are eligible for internships programs.Many renowned companies such as Dell,Oracle, Adobe visited here for placements.The highest package offered this year was from oracle which was 86lpa and the avg package this year was 12lpa .Here the placement percrntage is approx 86%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees was normal as iit's or nit's.It is approx 2.5 lacs per year.There is no scholarship for outside odia state students but there is some scholarship provided to odisha state students but you can apply for different scholarship provided by your state.The campus placement was good in CSE or IT branch but not so good for ETC.Offcampus placement was really awesome last year.
Campus Life
The campus is not so big as iit's the campus is about of 25 acres.The name of our annual fest is Advaita ut is our cultural fest and the name of tech fest is D3.The advaita is conducted on 1 st week of march.There is one big library in pur campus and nearly all the books of different different authors are present.The classroom is nice all the halls and auditorium is centrally AC.There is also sports facilities provided to students we have one big ground for football & one for cricket. We also have a basketball court and badminton court and tenis court.We have 13 societies all are run by students itself.
Hostel Facilities
Here we have triple sharing room.And for scholars we also have an option for single rooms,rooms are nice and spacious.For allotment of hostel you need to draw chit at the time of admission.The locality here surrounded by lots of trees.and there is no any Pg near the hostel.Hostel meal is not so good but there are many fooding options available outside the campus. There is one canteen present in the campus which provide decent amount of food.
Admission
Admission is done by jee mains exams followed by josaa counselling.The cutoff for CSE branch was 97-98 percentile while the cutoff for IT branch was 96.5-97 and cutoff for ETC branch IS 95+ percentile.50% seats are reserved for odisha students nd 50% is done by josaa councelling.
