Likes

I love the food offered in the canteen at a lower price
I like the teacher as they are very friendly, they are always there to help
I love the library as they have all the books required to get upto the level technically

Dislikes

The campus is very small, i mean there are three buildings in total
As it is Very far from the city, i have to spend a good amount of money and time to be there
During rainy season water gets logged upto knees creating a lot of problems

On the basis of the marks I got, I have to go with electronics and communication. Teachers are very friendly , you can ask doubt on whatsApp, they are always there to help the student out there. Exams are always take place in time and during the ca exams they also give the set of question in advance so that you get good marks

From the the seventh semester students become eligible for placements. They're are various companies visiting like pwc, Infosys, accenture and many others, the average package is 4 lpa but based on your quality you can go upto 10 , 12 lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

I took admission in 2021 that time the fees was 3.9 lakh but what have I seen recently that in the year 2023 there is a hike I mean a big hike in fees that is 5.9 lakh even though newly admitted student protested but nothing happened, as you know things got normal as time passes. You can avail svcm scholarship if you are eligible.

Campus Life

Fest are really good, tech fest gives us the opportunity to represent our ideas. Library are full of books and you can get any type of books related to your or others curriculum. Classrooms are big projectors are there, sometimes the light doesn't work. Extracurricular activities are always happening in campus you can take part to showcase your knowledge

Admission

Admission process was smooth gone through the procedure and their will be people helping you out there. Just carry all the documents like adhar, marksheet of class eleven , ten, twelve and the results of wbjeee so that you don't have to face any type of trouble

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.

I appeared for an entrance exam and I got a seat for CSE (data science) course at Techno International New Town. But I filled upgradation form and went for round 2. And I got a seat for Information Technology course at B. P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology. So I took admission in this college rather than taking risks of going to round 3.
