Course Curriculum Overview
Here faculty members are quite cooperative they design their own curriculum beyond academic they also motivate students to participate in extra curricular activities. The faculty student ratio is 1:10(approx).Here there are two quizes one before mid-sem another is after mid-sem is taken. And two main exams I. e mid-sem(30marks) and end-sem(50 marks) will be taken. All faculties are from IITs and IISCs and all have done their pHD. SO MY EXPERIENCE IS QUITE GOOD.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is taken on semester basis. Before starting of all semester there is a mail regarding fees payment, student have to pay fees during the cited period. The college also prove TFW(tution fee waiver) scheme for students on the basis of their family income and AIR IN JEE-MAIN. PLACEMENT scenario is quite good in this college. Companies like ORACLE, MEDIA. NET also come for on - campus placement. So the college able to provide a descent placement to it's students.
Campus Life
Clubs & Infrastructure: Annual Fest: Illuminate (March) Tech Fest: TechVibes (November) Library: Rich collection of books and journals catering to diverse subjects. Classrooms: Equipped with modern amenities, including audio-visual facilities. Sports & Extracurricular: Robust sports facilities and a variety of extracurricular activities, fostering holistic development. Student-Run Initiatives: Social Group: Unity Connect Clubs: Coding Wizards, Eco Warriors Website: CampusVibeHub Campus Life Review: As a student of IIIT Bhubaneswar, my campus life has been a mixed bag. The annual fest, Illuminate, in March, and the engaging TechVibes in November, add vibrancy to campus life. The library impresses with its extensive book and journal collection. Classrooms, though well-equipped, occasionally face technical glitches. Sports facilities are commendable, but the variety of extracurricular activities could be expanded. Student-run initiatives like Unity Connect, Coding Wizards, and E
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Facility: Room Facilities: Spacious rooms with basic furniture, study desks, and adequate storage. Meal Quality & Menu: Varied menu; however, occasional inconsistencies in meal quality. Hostel Registration Process: Smooth registration process; timely allocation of rooms. Affordability: Affordable for the facilities provided, but occasional fee hikes. Review: The hostel facility at IIIT Bhubaneswar offers decent rooms with essential amenities. However, there is room for improvement in maintaining consistent meal quality, and occasional fee hikes can be a concern for some students. For those opting for rented accommodation, my experience in the locality has been positive. The facilities provided in the room are satisfactory, and the locality is safe and well-connected. However, the variability in landlord responsiveness can be a challenge.
Admission
First of all I cleared JEE MAIN Entrance with the rank of 72027 . Although I am a Odisha domicile but I applied for various colleges through JOSAA Cauncelling and I also got mechanical branch in NITs but I opt for IIITBH over NITs because as it is a iiit so here cs caurses are quite better than other nits. Here there is reservation of 50% for Pdisha domicile student. Outsider are comming through josaa. I applied this as an Odia and very soon I got my admission offer letter. The admission process is quite good.
