Likes

I like the infrastructure here and the greenary around the campus
I also like the culture of meeting many people
I like the food outlets present in the college

Dislikes

The rules are a bit harsh for an average engineering student
No college life is fulfilled in this college
The hostel restrictions specially for girls are too much

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because i am interested in problem solving the faculty to student ratio is 1:65 the Qualification of the faculty is PHD every month we will be having term exams called Continuous Assessment tests 1 and 2 and then we have Final Assessment test which is our semester exam

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 400000 per year

Placement Experience

They are 3 category of companies visited call the normal dream and superdream companies.we have almost 500 companies visiting our colleges of all campuses .Average salary is around 4LPA and highest is around 50LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here depends on our rank if we have good rank we get the course by paying 2,00,000 otherwise next category would be 3,00,000 and next is 4,00,000 and then category 4 and 5 also available.Placements are good in our college they give training also for placements

We will be having 2 big fests called the technovit which is technical and then vibrance which is cultural fest these 2 happen for 3 days where students from other college can also come and enjoy here .we have a very good library facility maintained which have monthly journals updation and many books there are many clubs present which are techical , cultural,social services related clubs also present

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are not much worth for the money they collect .Menu price is too much i can say the food they provide is good .They are three types of mess available depends on your choice you can prefer veg,non veg and specail mess

Hostel Fee: INR 160000 per year

Admission

Eligibility of CSE and its specialisation vary actually CSE core has highest preference compared to others the cutoff will be max 40k rank it depends on the amount of student ready to join and depends on the fee category so .No reservation benefits

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

because of future is EV. So I will take the EEE for a bright future 50:1 ratio level. Faculty qualification is a minimum PG and most of the faculties are complete Ph.D. each unit has a unit test it is very easy only No difficulty to get a pass.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
