Course Curriculum Overview
About couse curriculum, it is same as what all the government colleges have but one of our uniqueness is that our college is a semi autonomous college. Therefore all the examinations are conducted by the college. There are many good and well established faculties from different IITs, NITs,IIITs and IISER, etc. The term or semester exams are a bit difficult which completely depends upon the student.
Internships Opportunities
The internship opportunities of the college is not very high . There are very few companies which give paid internship to the students. There is not any particular team in college to look after students indulging in any projects.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester the students of our college are eligible for campus placements. Many different companies visit every year. Last year 143 companies visited our college out of which the highest package was recorded 39 LPA given by Media Net. The average package of Computer Science branch is 13 Lakhs per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to do M- Tech and PHD. These courses are also available in our college
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure is divided into semesters. Each academic year is divided into two semesters. During each semester a student needs to pay an average of one lakhs excluding hostel and mess charges. Scholarships and financial assistance are provided to many different students based upon their merits and conditions. But this ratio is minimal.
Campus Life
A student can enjoy the greenery of campus. But he or she might not find it large as compared to area. This is due to the fact that there are only five branches in the college. The annual fest of our college is named as ADVAITA and is held mostly in the month of February and the technological fest named as D3 fest is generally held in the month of October. This fest is very good as there are many hackathons conducted and there is a good amount of prize distribution. All the basic amenities of a student are fulfilled
Admission
Admission process was well and good. As I had applied for state quota that is from odisha. I got CSE at 40000 rank but in national quota the final cutoff went upto 36000. For counseling process students can go directly through josaa counseling or csab counselling.
