Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

If I talk about the course curriculum it's quite Interesting and this increase after the new education policy because of which new subjects are included in the curriculum. And along with the theoretical part the focus is also increases in the practical portion of the study . My main reason to opt this course is to increase my knowledge in the field of finance and I also have interest on the finance sector and want to set my career on the same . The faculty student ratio is also good at my college comparatively to other colleges but still it is less , sometimes because of the shortage of faculty the classes are started after the completion of half of the course . But the good part is that the faculty of SRCC are excellent and they possess excellent qualification and their teaching method is also impressive. the exams are of semester basis means exams are held in every 6 month and it's not difficult to pass the same .

Internships Opportunities

4

Many kind of intership opportunity are there in my college and many kind of roles are also offered by them but it have less seats means only few stude ts get intership opportunity. It is not possible to provide intership opportunity to each and every student. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG provide highest intership opportunity and the if I talk about the highest intership opportunity they I saw is 1200000 per month which is extremely high but it is true one of the student of 3rd year get that opportunity and the students gets this opportunity after they rechaed in 2 nd year .

Placement Experience

4

As I told earlier the placement report of my college is good comparatively to other colleges like most of the DU colleges are not offer any kind of placement but my college have almost good placement rate and in the last year college have 520 offers of placement and the average package of the college is 10 L while the highest in the last year was 35 L .Students become eligible for the placement after 2 nd year and they get the placement in their 3 Rd year some of the extraordinary stude t get pre placement offer in the 2nd year as well . My college have a huge networking with the unicorn companies mainly big 4 are come to my college to recruit the students .

Fees and Financial Aid

Because the college comes under the university of Delhi that's why it's fees structure is not as much particular my college fees Structure is 30,000 per year . And there are many opportunities for the scholarship for the students who don't afford to pay this fees . Like I get of the scholarship through which I don't need to pay the fees means my entire fees has exempted.. And if we talk about the placement so it's the highest around the colleges available and in figures we can say the average package is 10L while the highest package is 35 last year . Along with the placement college also provide many intership with the good amount of stipend.

Campus Life

5

The college life is very heacktick because there are so many things to do I the campus like along withe the classes my college is famous for the society's like placement cell, enactus and 180 DC . Which offers a good exposure to you and help to to build a good CV for the further job profiles . And all the society's organised theor fest on time time because of which we get bunch of enjoyment are there . Or the sports facilities are also available there like almost all kind of sports equipment are provided by the college to the students which includes football, cricket and tennis and so on. Many teams are also formed to play in a national level as well . Along with it the seniors are very helpful because of which junior does not feel any kind of problems against the seniors .

Admission

The admission process mainly involves crack the exam named common University entrance test(CUET). For this first you need to submit the application for for the same then , give the exams and getting the marks up to your cut off for getting admission in the particular college where you want to be in the future. If particular I talk about the cut off to get admission in my college ( SRCC) it around more than 780 out of 800 for the general category students but for the category students it's around 700 plus for ST and SC and for the OBC it's 730 plus . In short I can say that SRCC cut off are the highest comparative to the other colleges. But one thing to be noted SRCC only offers two UG courses B.com Hons and Eco. Hons. To getting all information related to admission process cut off or any thing about the college the university website is the best source. And the eligibility of the course for the eco Hons one must have maths in their Plus 2 and there is not eligible for the bcom hons.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...
