The college management is fine here. The organization is good.

I appeared for IIT JEE Advanced 2016. I scored 63. I opt for this course because I was interested and also with my rank I was getting this course in this college.

Here the course structure is good. But the course is mostly based on cramming the things since most of the things in exams comes from cramming the things. Also here research is improving day by day but the professors are not helpful. Also, we have to study Humanities which have more credits than the departmental subject. Also, professors take extra classes for Humanities.

Yes, our college provides company internship but not research internship. It depends upon company to company. Like Reliance provides 50k rupees per month and HUL provides 250k for 2 months. The company internships are good.

The placement here is good and improving day by day. The highest package for a chemical student for non-core is 30 lacs and for core, it is 16 lacs. The companies for placement are IOCL, Reliance, Mastercard, Oracle, etc. Over highest package goes over 1 crore. The companies are Aakash Institute, HCL, Reliance, Oyo Rooms, Ola Cabs, etc.

There are 4 main events in our college. First is Varanasi Startup Weekend. It is conducted in small scale. It is for those who want to open a startup. Second, it is Spardha, the sports event. It is conducted in big scale but last year the participation has reduced due to molestation in our campus. The third is Kashiyatra, cultural fest. It is conducted in big scale. The last event is Technex, the technical fest. It is conducted in big scale.

The academic fee is feasible for students whose parents are having income less than 5 lpa and for PWD and SC and ST students. The mess fee is normal but food quality is worse. The rest fees are fine. The academic fee for students whose parents have income more than 5 lpa are high as they have to pay 1 lacs per semester.

Yes, there is scholarship here. There is Merit Cum Means Scholarship. Also, there is Jain Scholarship for some students.

The campus life is good. The gender ratio is 1:70. The extracurricular activities are good here. There is no student activity center in our college. There is politics in our college. The workshops are conducted in our college. Cultural societies are good at our college.

The hostel facilities are quite fine. The internet is not so good here as it sometimes slows down. The mess food is worse. The sports facility is not so good as students of another faculty also use this facility. There is no proper ventilation in classrooms and labs.

Yes, there are alumni like Nikesh Arora who is CEO of Palo Alto Networks, Aman Bhandari who is Cricket Analysist at Star Sports, etc. They are very helpful.

Here exam structure is good. There is at least 1-day gap for exams. But labs leave us with hectic day. The viva takes minimum 30 minutes for each group and it is not conducted in time. Also viva is conducted the next day for remaining students. The viva never completes within given time.

At first I have to confirm my seat by paying the fees. Then I have to go to nearest IIT for counselling and seat allotment. After getting the seat I had to go to my college for hostel allotment. In the very next day, I had to go to the room allotted for registration and verification. Finally you are registered.

The faculty is not so good. The Engineering Drawing professor used to tell us stories during the class and never help us in the subject. The assistant at Manufacturing Workshop does not treat us properly. The CRE - 1 professor always use bookish knowledge and DOSA sometimes abuses students and professors.
