Course Curriculum Overview

the faculty are depending on the course some faculty are chill and gives marks based on the paper but some are keen on failing you the faculty like that are less .it will be depending on the sem some sems are 5months some are also 3 monts in which 2 exams are held in one day it is a lot pressure and some sems are chill

you will get internships starting in the 6th semester the will be giving depending upon the company ranging from 2.25lac to 30k and it is is only applicable . but getting internship is very tough beacause of the compitetion

from 6th semester placements will be eligible for placements.you are required to pay 7k to be eligible for placeements if you have cgpa greater than 6 and have less than 2 arrears.the highest package is 1.25 cr and average package is 9 lacks.80%

the fee structrue are of 5 catogers sdepending on the rank you will be assigned a catogery . the catogery 1.2lac 2.3lac 3.4lac 4.4.5lac 5. 5lac the schoralship are given by the college with some conditions which i am not aware of

Campus Life

there are 2 fest in fall sem there will be a technical fest techno VIT and in winter sem there will be VIBRNANCE which is a cultural fest it will be in march.the library has 3 floors and has the books reqired . there is a cricket ground and football ground tenis running track etc you can play with your friends. there are insta pages like vitrendz which are run by students

Hostel Facilities

there aare types of rooms 2bed ac 4bed ac 6bed ac there are no non ac rooms available now they completely changed to ac which is difficult because it cosrts more now than before.mess quality is ok but there are many limitations and depending on the caterars. hostel is not affordable and food quality is ok

Admission

i took exam viteee it is an online exam since it was covid time the exam was 15 hr and the questions were moderate to easy you will get mail regarding the process nd you will get rank and with that rank you will be able to apply in th slot given 1st slot 1to 20k rank 2nd slot 21k to 45 k and so onn

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

It's a good college for me.

Placement Experience:

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

Balanced Engineering Journey At Vit Chennai

I applied for SRM, once considered admission in LPU but finally chose VIT due it's reputation and strong placements. Other colleges which I applied for required strong jee scores for admission. Admission process in VIT is as follows:- 1) write VITEEE exam cause vit doesn't considers jee scores. 2) you must have above 60 percent in boards and above or equal to 60 percent in PCM aggregate. 3)cutoffs, past papers, closing and opening ranks are not revealed si can't say much regarding that. 4) overall admission experience was decent...Read More

Is VIT worth it

From th start of the 12th class I wanted IIT and my second option was VIT over NITs because it has very good facilities. I didn't get good marks in my JEE advance so I choose VIT. I had given exams of various other colleges like Kalinga Insititute of technology(KIT), SRM, BITSAT etc. i chose VIT as my college was because it is one of the most renowned colleges of India. VIT has a tag value of its own and it does make a difference if you add "VIT" as your college in your resume. The admission process of this college goes by giving an examination called VITEEE which is held after jee mains. The syllabus for the same is similar to jee mains and the good thing is it has no negative marking. All 12th pass students with a minimum of 60% are eligible to write this entrance test.
