IIIT BBSR is The College of the Future

The course and curriculum is perfectly designed based on placement and gate syllabus which will be very much beneficial for every student in one way or the other . I chose this course because as we all know india is growing in the Semiconductor industry , so it's a great opportunity to learn this and get good placement. The faculty to student ratio is very good it's almost 1:10 . The qualifications of the faculty are really good , all of them mostly have done their PhD's from prestigious IIT'S like IIT KGP IIT DELHI IIT BOMBAY etc. The teaching method is very good , the classes are very interactive. The term exams mostly happen in 4 months and then a gap of almost 1 month then another exam in the next 4 months then a 3 month holiday

The companies that offered internships were delloite of junior developer and Accenture of software developer . And very good stipend amount of around 30-60k were also offered by companies and later also even hiring letters were given after internships

From 5th semester students are eligible for placements . Many good companies like Dell HP Samsung visit the college for on campus placements The highest package offered was 39 lpa Almost 100 percent students get the placement even if u have an average CGPA I have plans for Mtech after getting the degree

The fees may be a little bit high compared to IIT and NIT , but it's worth it considering the placement stats of the college . And also it's not too much like private colleges but also it is a bit more compared to govt colleges. There are many scholarships in this college like the Kalia jojana scholarship and many other scholarships

The most eye catching fest is Advita it's the best fest of this college conducted in the month of February. Many amazing stars have previously performed in the fest like jubin nautiyal, Arman Malik, and many other . The tech fest is D^3 which is conducted in the month of November. The library has all the books in need in your college life , for studies, philosophy and si-fi every other book u need is there. Projector in every classroom and proper spacious seating and good visibility from any position in the class even if you are a back bencher Sports and extra curricular activities goes on almost every month there is some tournament and events in the college Vendanta samiti is the most working club which conducts spiritual and fun activities in the college

The rooms are for 3 people with 3 beds 3 windows 3 cupboards 3 fans 3 tables 3 chair Meal quality is average which is almost the problem of all colleges , but u get non veg 4 times a week . The registration of hostel is done along with college admission as hostel for 1st year is compulsory for all

The admission process was pretty straight forward. The eligibility of the course was based on jee mains rank. The application form was available on the college website and also through jossa councessling. The application fees was 50000. There is a 50 % state category reservation for the general category . The admission process is good no need for any improvement its completely online process
